Every year, on the 1st Sunday in March in South Australia, a very special fundraising walk occurs. This walk honours the life of Lewis Mark McPherson, a young man whose life was tragically taken in 2012. Each year people come together to walk the beach from Brighton to Glenelg Jetty and return, sharing memories, stories and fun. Fundraising for both the SammyD Foundation and Carly Ryan Foundation, it was fabulous to be a part of it again this year – 2021.
The ‘Yellow Tutu’ girls are amongst my wonderful girlfriends who share my belief that when we give back, we pay forward, we fill our souls together.
