Sue commenced her career in the music industry holding positions in the PR departments in Adelaide, London. Time out for good behaviour from the music industry saw her work as the PR Manager at Messenger Newspaper, in special events at the Formula One Grand Prix Office and as the functions manager at Ayers House. She returned to the PR side of the music industry and headed to Sydney, then became only the second-ever female to hold the position of State Manager for any record company in Australia. In 1996, the opportunity knocked with an opportunity to start up her own PR company. The “PR Workshop” launched with a bang – creating and managing the launch of Port Power’s AFL debut event at the Entertainment Centre – the reveal of the Port Power name, colours and search for the club song. Passionate about our environment, our global community… Sue shares her insight on all of these issues and how her upbringing gave her the perfect platform to contribute to change.
